Warm & Fuzzy Wishes

Welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle
"World Animal Day blog hop"
 If you hopped here by way of the Sparkle N Sprinkle home blog
 blog, then you're in the right place.
~~~~~~~~~~
This is your first stop to our Animal Kingdom. I hope you enjoy your adventure. Don't forget to leave a comment on my blog (tell me about YOUR favorite animal/pet), to become eligible for two Grand prizes, and three other mystery prizes.
Now sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Please don 't feed the animals and remember to keep all hands & feet inside the computer as some of these animals are "wild".   :)
Mr. & Mrs. P are sending out Warm and Fuzzie Wishes to all my friends this year. I stamped on plain red ribbon to give an extra holiday glitz to the card.  Please visit my gallery here for list of items used to make this card.
Here, are two sizes of cards, using the same Tony stamp. Cuttlebug Forest Branches Embossing Plate is perfect for the background. The image was stamped twice and attached with pop-dots. Moveable eyes were added to give a "lifelike" effect. Amber Wheat Flocking is the perfect color for Tony and Palm Leaf Flocking for the edging. This makes a great card for a special birthday.
Sea Oats is another versatile stamp that I enjoy using for backgrounds. "Tony" is peaking through the circle on the outside and wishing your friend a "wild day" on the inside. What a great pick-me-up for a fun friend.
Love your cards! So bright and happy. The way you stamped on that ribbon makes me want to run right in and try it myself! That's really cool! Love the backgrounds too!
Love all three cards, but the third is my favorite - such a fun idea!
I love all the different animals on your cards and I love that you made them fuzzy and added texture to them!
Patti, nice cards. I like the ribbon treatment on the first, the flocking on the Tiger on the second and the use of the Wheat Grass on the third.
Having "pet allergies" I had tropical fish for years. When we started traveling a lot our friend kept over feeding them and we would come home to a tank full of "floaters". I finally gave up so I'm pet less. I guess my rubber stamps are my pets!
Patti, these are so wonderful!! Love the sea oats and am glad I have that image - it is a great background and you have showcased it beautifully here. I have enjoyed getting to know you and will be stopping by for visits! xo
These are really cute, Patti! I love the flocking on them. You did a great job!
I particularly like your use of flocking on the three cards. I love that penguin couple with warm fuzzy wishes. The googly eyes on Tony is a nice touch. When I was a little girl we had a boxer named Flip. My brother learned to walk holding on to his tail.
So cute and I never thought to use flocking for fur! I am definitely stealing that idea!
Love all three! Especially like the peek a boo tiger idea and the sea oats as background stamp! Great cards!
Great cards Patti!I think the 2nd one is my favorite though - you're right, that cuttlebug background is the perfect match for that stamp and your flocking on the card is just perfect too!
These cards are oh so cute and I love the flocking. I have been wanting to try that technique but don't have a glue pad so not sure how else to adhere the stuff. Your embossed background is so perfect for the wild animal images! Speaking of wild animals, my very favorite is the giant panda. Saw a special on them last night and just wanted to grab one right through the tV screen!
I love your cards. They are all so happy. The 2nd one is my favorite. I like the way you used flocking, especially on the edge. I never would have thought of doing that but I will now. My favorite animal, as a pet, has to be a dog. But watching the wild birds at my feeder brings me unlimited joy.
What a clever idea to frame Tony in the forest branches.
