If you hopped here by way of Marie Berquists' blogthen you are in the right place! Otherwise, you might like to start from the beginning, the SNS Home Blog to become eligible for four great prizes.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
At first, I was a bit nervous using these Asian stamps, but once I got started I found they were lots of fun to work with and versatile for any occasion.
My cards are from Stamp Set 181 Asian - Carp and Stamp Set 300 Asian - Umbrella Geisha. There are 13 images included in Stamp Set 181, however, you can get more just by cutting the stamped images apart.

The 1st card is made using the center of the larger circle image, colored and attached to sheer ribbon with pop-dots.

The 2nd card is using the middle image of the same stamp. I added small rhinestones around the inner edge of the circle and attached a heart charm to ribbon.

The 3rd card uses the largest outside image as a frame for the lattice and flowers.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~

 One Stamp ~ Three looks
 Now That's a good deal!

Tear-i-fic Tape is not just for securing images. Here I've used it as a sparkly "ribbon" background by coating with Dazzling Rose Glitter .  I added the stamped flowers to Sticker Paper, coating with Sparkling Snow Glitter .  The Outer Space Embossing Powder,  gives a simple, yet elegant pattern background.
Have fun creating your own, Asian experience!
For complete directions to create these cards, please see my gallery here.

Mother's Day Blog Hop, 3/23/2011

What better way to let your Sister know you are thinking of her than using SNS stamp set Daddy's Little Girl. (Enabler alert! This set is currently on sale at the SNS site!) Tie a Really Reasonable Ribbon around it and your sister will cherish the card (and you) forever. Other Supplies used: Memento Ink Pad, Sakura Glue Pen, Sparkling Snow Glitter, Copic Markers, all available at SNS.

Here is a more masculine card ideal for any occasion. Really Reasonable Ribbon is threaded through cardstock. Stamp Set 416 - Happy Birthday's Love and Laughter sentiment is great for birthdays or a pick-me-up card to that special someone. Items used: Sparkling Snow Glitter, Sakura Glue Pen, and Versa Color Ink.

If you know any girls, big or little, you will fall in love with the Stamp Set #413 – Daddy’s Princess. Becca with Tulips is the perfect image for birthdays, gift tags, party invitations, and the Sugar and Spice stamp is great for birth announcements.

I’ve layered two of the Really Reasonable Ribbons (Yellow Diamonds on atop the White Lace) to give a softer look. Copic Markers are used for Becca’s image, along with my handy dandy Sakura Glue Pen and Sparkling Snow Glitter G1003. Every card should have at least a touch of glitter. Really Reasonable Ribbons are also perfect for stamping designs and sentiments.

With all the freezing temps so many of us have endured this winter, the Stamp Set #425 – Spring Swirl is sure to warm you up. By layering the Really Reasonable Ribbon onto cardstock, adding Tear-ific Tape and Sparkling Snow Glitter G1003, it makes a great backdrop to the Swirl Tulips, embossed with Gala Pink and Christmas Green Embossing Powder. Add the Swirl Snail and Nature’s Way sentiment and you have a great card welcoming Spring. -Other Embossing Powders used are Buttercup Petal and Hit the Beach.

Warm & Fuzzy Wishes

Welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle
"World Animal Day blog hop"
 If you hopped here by way of the Sparkle N Sprinkle home blog
 blog, then you're in the right place.
~~~~~~~~~~
This is your first stop to our Animal Kingdom. I hope you enjoy your adventure. Don't forget to leave a comment on my blog (tell me about YOUR favorite animal/pet), to become eligible for two Grand prizes, and three other mystery prizes.
Now sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Please don 't feed the animals and remember to keep all hands & feet inside the computer as some of these animals are "wild".   :)
Mr. & Mrs. P are sending out Warm and Fuzzie Wishes to all my friends this year. I stamped on plain red ribbon to give an extra holiday glitz to the card.  Please visit my gallery here for list of items used to make this card.
Here, are two sizes of cards, using the same Tony stamp. Cuttlebug Forest Branches Embossing Plate is perfect for the background. The image was stamped twice and attached with pop-dots. Moveable eyes were added to give a "lifelike" effect. Amber Wheat Flocking is the perfect color for Tony and Palm Leaf Flocking for the edging. This makes a great card for a special birthday.
Sea Oats is another versatile stamp that I enjoy using for backgrounds. "Tony" is peaking through the circle on the outside and wishing your friend a "wild day" on the inside. What a great pick-me-up for a fun friend.
AUTUMN INSPIRATIONS BLOG HOP
Welcome to our Autumn Inspirations blog hop celebrating Fall’s Colors!  If you came here from Julie's blog, you are in the right place.
It’s still hot here in the South, but we’re preparing for the lovely Autumn Season which brings scrumptious flavors and scents, and fun celebrations.  Help yourself to some delightfully spiced apple cider stirred with cinnamon sticks, a little pumpkin pie, and some ginger snap cookies, and let’s get hopping!
Important things first: The Grand Prize is a stamp set of the winner’s choice.  As you visit each artist’s blog, there is the possibility of winning one of FIVE more prizes! It’s a secret though. No one knows who “Those Five” are, except for me.
Winners will be announced Saturday, August 27 between 11AM-3PM here on the blog.
Frames~~not just for photos anymore. The Thoughtful Frames, Square Swirl Frame surrounds the perfect sentiment. Stamp, emboss, and add a touch of glitter for a card for any occasion. For detailed instructions and list of supplies, click here, http://sparklensprinkle.com/g/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album53&id=aew
I couldn't help myself ~~ I had to make this funny "Bird-day" card. The frames make perfect "eyes & nose". Adding movable eyes, studs, & a sprig of fuzz, this makes for a fun card for the birthday boy or girl, of any age. Instructions here http://sparklensprinkle.com/g/view_photo.php?set_albumName=HappyBirthday&id=ahu
Who says Butterflies & Sunflowers are only for Springtime?  I love how the Copic Markers make these colors pop. Image was stamped twice and butterflies cut out & layered with pop dots. Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Plate adds just the right background. Highlight images with glue pen and glitter and you're done.
Thanks for stopping by. Hop on over to Shona's blog for another beautiful Autumn Inspiration.
We hope you will enjoy viewing our cards as much as we did in creating them. To become eligible to win the Grand Prize, please leave a comment on each blog, and follow the directions on the last blog. Winners of the 5 “other-prizes” will be selected from the comments on those designers’ blogs! (Yes, the possibility exists that you might win the grand prize AND a secondary-prize, so good luck!)
Leaving a heart felt comment inspires, motivates, and brings happiness to each designer! From the last blog, you will be directed to come back here and leave a brief comment about... (you’ll have to go there to see what the comment will be about).
HOW TO LEAVE A COMMENT: Are you new to blog hops? To find the comments section on each designer’s blog, scroll down to the bottom of that day’s post. The word COMMENTS possibly will be very tiny. Click on the tiny word COMMENTS. A box will pop up (or you may have to scroll down again). Write your comment (sign your name if leaving an anonymous comment). Perhaps one of those wonky SPAM preventer options will show up. Just type in the shown characters and click enter. That’s all there is to it. You will become an old hand in no time at all. Designers covet sincere comments left on their blogs. They share their artwork and hearts, hoping to inspire others. Visitors who leave comments, in turn, encourage and inspire the designers. (If you absolutely cannot leave a comment for some reason, please e-mail SNS_Artist@tampabay.rr.com with your comment AND the name of the blog or designer you are commenting about).
Have fun!
Sparkle n Sprinkle Design Team Glitter Challenge
This challenge is right up my alley since I LOVE playing with glitter (just in case you didn't know :) I chose to do my cards using American Traditional Stencils. The "Thank You" card is done using 3 glitters; Orange Surprise, Meadow Sparks , and Sparkling Snow on Sticker Paper. It's really very simple to do, yet looks like it took hours to create.
The Butterfly is a little more time consuming, but the results are so worth it. The mixture of the Mirror Cardstock and glitters (Orange Surprise, Elegant Emerald, Blue Lightning, Sunny Daze, Majestic Purple and Sparkling Snow) makes the Butterfly appear ready to take flight. If you've never tried this technique, follow this link for instructions. Have a fun and Sparkly day! http://sparklensprinkle.com/techniques_detail.php?title_keyword=stencil
