Mother's Day Blog Hop, 3/23/2011

What better way to let your Sister know you are thinking of her than using SNS stamp set Daddy's Little Girl. (Enabler alert! This set is currently on sale at the SNS site!) Tie a Really Reasonable Ribbon around it and your sister will cherish the card (and you) forever. Other Supplies used: Memento Ink Pad, Sakura Glue Pen, Sparkling Snow Glitter, Copic Markers, all available at SNS.

Here is a more masculine card ideal for any occasion. Really Reasonable Ribbon is threaded through cardstock. Stamp Set 416 - Happy Birthday's Love and Laughter sentiment is great for birthdays or a pick-me-up card to that special someone. Items used: Sparkling Snow Glitter, Sakura Glue Pen, and Versa Color Ink.

If you know any girls, big or little, you will fall in love with the Stamp Set #413 – Daddy’s Princess. Becca with Tulips is the perfect image for birthdays, gift tags, party invitations, and the Sugar and Spice stamp is great for birth announcements.

I’ve layered two of the Really Reasonable Ribbons (Yellow Diamonds on atop the White Lace) to give a softer look. Copic Markers are used for Becca’s image, along with my handy dandy Sakura Glue Pen and Sparkling Snow Glitter G1003. Every card should have at least a touch of glitter. Really Reasonable Ribbons are also perfect for stamping designs and sentiments.

With all the freezing temps so many of us have endured this winter, the Stamp Set #425 – Spring Swirl is sure to warm you up. By layering the Really Reasonable Ribbon onto cardstock, adding Tear-ific Tape and Sparkling Snow Glitter G1003, it makes a great backdrop to the Swirl Tulips, embossed with Gala Pink and Christmas Green Embossing Powder. Add the Swirl Snail and Nature’s Way sentiment and you have a great card welcoming Spring. -Other Embossing Powders used are Buttercup Petal and Hit the Beach.

Warm & Fuzzy Wishes

Welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle
"World Animal Day blog hop"
 If you hopped here by way of the Sparkle N Sprinkle home blog
 blog, then you're in the right place.
~~~~~~~~~~
This is your first stop to our Animal Kingdom. I hope you enjoy your adventure. Don't forget to leave a comment on my blog (tell me about YOUR favorite animal/pet), to become eligible for two Grand prizes, and three other mystery prizes.
Now sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Please don 't feed the animals and remember to keep all hands & feet inside the computer as some of these animals are "wild".   :)
Mr. & Mrs. P are sending out Warm and Fuzzie Wishes to all my friends this year. I stamped on plain red ribbon to give an extra holiday glitz to the card.  Please visit my gallery here for list of items used to make this card.
Here, are two sizes of cards, using the same Tony stamp. Cuttlebug Forest Branches Embossing Plate is perfect for the background. The image was stamped twice and attached with pop-dots. Moveable eyes were added to give a "lifelike" effect. Amber Wheat Flocking is the perfect color for Tony and Palm Leaf Flocking for the edging. This makes a great card for a special birthday.
Sea Oats is another versatile stamp that I enjoy using for backgrounds. "Tony" is peaking through the circle on the outside and wishing your friend a "wild day" on the inside. What a great pick-me-up for a fun friend.
